Fobs - Communal Door

If you have lost your FOB and require a new communal door FOBs then please follow these steps:

  1. If you are renting the property, please contact your landlord and tell them which colour FOB has been lost.
  2. Contact either the managing agents, housing association or trust as they have to varify your right to a new FOB and advise us accordingly by email -
  3. Once we have confirmation, we will then contact you to take a card payment over the phone and post the keys out to you using the Royal Mail*.

Please make note of the followng points:

We only go to the post office twice a week, and all FOBs must be prepared for posting by 4pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.

All FOBs must be paid for prior to posting.

A reciept is included with the FOBs.

To cancel and replace a FOB (Hexact system only) we need to know the details of the lost FOB i.e. its colour and owners details. When the replacement FOB is presented to the FOB reader, the old FOB will immediately stop working.

D.E.S. Locksmiths does not make a note of any of your card details as your details are entered directly into our payment machine.

*Please note that all packages are sent using the 'Recorded, Signed for' service unless the 'Special Delivery' service is requested at point of sale. D.E.S. Locksmiths cannot guarantee any delivery times and dates.
